Project Activities

1

The Food Eco-Culture Edu Curriculum

This curriculum focuses on creating a transformative learning experience by integrating interdisciplinary modules into food and hospitality education. Designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to lead in the evolving food sector, the curriculum explores themes like sustainability, nutrition, cultural identity, and food innovation. It combines research, real-world feedback from industry experts, and classroom pilot studies to create a robust, inclusive, and sustainable educational model. The curriculum aims to reshape higher education by ensuring that students are prepared to tackle contemporary food sector challenges with interdisciplinary and practical solutions.

2

Food Eco-Culture Living Labs

Our Living Labs provide an exciting, hands-on learning environment where students apply their theoretical knowledge to solve real-world food sector challenges. Established at four partner institutions, these labs are dynamic spaces where students collaborate with industry and community partners to create innovative, sustainable solutions. Through immersive experiences and cross-disciplinary projects, students explore the cultural, environmental, and economic aspects of food systems. The labs promote continuous innovation, offering students the chance to engage with stakeholders in the food and hospitality industries, and develop practical solutions that address pressing challenges in the sector.
